Information point
Information points are located at the jettys, at the guest harbour in Hemviken and at the barn. An exhibition is located 300 m from the southern jetty by the road that goes to the holiday village and the youth hostel.

Farm and farm shop
A barn belonging to Grinda Gård is located in the centre of the island. The barn is used in the winter to house the farm’s cows and hens, which in the summer graze the surrounding meadows together with sheep, who are outdoors all year. Most of the farm animals are of traditional Swedish races. A small farm shop is open during the peak season for a few hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays (unless circumstances prevent this).

Beginner’s bay
Beginner’s bay is an initiative by Sweboat, Allt for sjön and the Archipelago Foundation in order to attract inexperienced boaters. The jetty in Hästholmssundet on south Grinda is a ”practice area” for new and prospective boat owners, for happier and safer boating. The jetty is accessible for people with disabilities.

A natural harbour is located in Hästholmssundet on south Grinda.
Pumpout station
A pumpout station is located in Hemviken.

Skärgårdsmajor are located at several places on Grinda.
Showers
Showers are located at the guest harbour in Hemviken.
Well
Fresh water is available at the campsite, at the barn and at the reception by the southern jetty.
Nature trail
A nature and culture trail of length 2.5 km passes around the island’s southeastern part, starting from the barn.
Viewpoint
A viewpoint is located on Klubbudden, 35 m above sea level.
Sauna
A sauna is located at the hostel. Grinda Wärdshus has a floating sauna.
Designated barbecue area
Designated barbecue areas are located by the northern and southern jetties and at the basic campsite.
Bathing
Family beaches are located by the southern and northern jetties and in Källviken.
Skogsmulle trail
“Skogsmulle” is uniquely Swedish: there is no direct translation of the name, but “forest creature” or “forest Mulle” captures the flavour. The skogsmulle encourages children to care for, love and respect the natural world around us. Follow the Skogsmulle trail, which starts by Grinda Wärdshus and passes around the meadow.
