Kapellskärsudden has an engraving from 1752 when King Adolf Fredrik and his fleet waited for wind in Kapellskär, before sailing to war in Finland.
The Estonia cross
The Estonia cross at Kapellskärsudden was raised after the ferry disaster in the Baltic Sea in October 1994. This part of the Swedish mainland is closest to the site of the accident.
