Boskapsön is a pine-covered, relatively high-lying island with bare hillocks of height 15-20 metres surrounding a long valley that runs north-south down the island.

Ranger’s tips

An attractive and charming little island, which is well worth a visit!
If you have a bigger boat and want to anchor in a natural harbour, the south side is the most sensible spot to stay overnight. The northern point is popular among canoeists, since it is close to some lovely meadows, which are great for camping. Boskapsö is admirably suitable for camping, and has three wonderful meadows where you can put up your tent.

The island is only 1.1 km long, but even so offers a wide variety of experiences. It is quite hilly in places, interspersed by forest and meadows. All in all, a charming little island.
